Tarot  - The Aces

ACE of WANDS

​

As all Aces are of an extremely positive nature, so it is with  the Ace of Wands. This card indicates that the person that is identified is in a position to gain profound Spiritual insight. This means that issues that arise concerning the Self, or the personal confidence that one has in Self, will return. Self-respect and Self-esteem will act to push you forward all forthcoming situations. 

The Ace of Wands Indicates that Higher Spiritual matters are on the mind of the person indicated. Perhaps even a feeling that one should seek the Spiritual side of ones personality. This is usually manifested in the desire to go to Church or Synagogue...etc. This impulse is particularly strong in those that were raised in an orthodox or structured Spiritual upbringing (Catholics, Mormons, Jews etc.). Although this card is not a call to tradition, it reflects the thoughts that are prevalent as a result of culture and environment. It may be that the individual indicated will make a departure from tradition, if it interferes with core personal issues.

In all instances the client should be encouraged to seek the Spiritual and the Creative.

Ace of Cups

This card indicates that the start of a new and positive love opportunity. This may be a new relationship. This card does not indicate the final outcome to a relationship, only that there are genuine feelings of love. 

Cups deal with emotions, and so basic human relations are revealed in their most favorable circumstances by this Ace. This card indicates that emotional situations tend to favor the individual that the card pertains to in the Spread.

Ace of Swords

​

The suit of Swords is concerned with intellectual matters. The ability to communicate your ideas and to establish long range goals and plans are all extremely favorable. This card represents logic and the ability to reason and uses ones head. If this card is in position 2 (obstacles) it will indicate the lack of thought and reason for the client. The Ace of Swords in the Spread will indicate the time in which the client is intellectually at a peak. This card is significant in that confusion and uncertainty dissolve in the face of the energies that are associated with this Ace. This card is particular to outside influences. When it falls next to a Court Card, it represents that the person indicated is smarter or more logical than you and that they are right intellectually. It also informs you that the person it shows with is intellectually on top of their game.

Ace of Pentacles

​

This card indicates the start of extremely favorable Material and Financial conditions. New opportunities, financing, credit and inheritance are the indications of this Ace. The position in which the Ace of Pentacles appears in the spread will tell you the time frame for new business offers. These can come in the form of promotions at current job, or opportunities that come from outside sources. This card has a duration of around six months. If the Ace of Pentacles appears in position 10 (six months from now) it would indicate that there is a very good change in store. The Ace of Pentacles will indicate the best time for large purchases or investments and the best time in general for great undertakings.

It should be noted that opportunities are not limited to the work place, but may arrive from outside influences that are unknown.
